- insulin apart gets cleared at regular rate in kidney failure pt. So, it's probably good to use insulin aspart in kidney failure pt.
- insulin lispro, regular insulin, lantus, levemir gets cleared slower in kidney failure pt. So, reduce the dose 30-50% of regular dosage given to renal failure pt.
