EUS

EUS = endoscopic ultrasound.

Advantage of EUS over CT scan is that you can do biopsy while CT scan or MRI, you may not be able to do biopsy.

Note: may be ordered to further evaluate nodules, even nodules that are discovered to be benign during EGD because it may be just surface scraping but not addressing the whole nodule.
